Saturday, May 17, 2008 - Ron's Vehicle Services / Graphic Inc Benefit Car Show / Spaghetti Dinner for Ron Anderson (Brain Aneurism Victim). VFW / American Legion Post 9283, 16200 Dix Toledo Road, Southgate, MI. from 2 pm to 7 pm. $15 car entry and 1 dinner, $25 car entry and 2 dinners. Raffles, Door prizes, and silent auction. All proceeds to be donated to the family.

Saturday, May 24, 2008 - St. Pius Annual Car Show during the Southgate Heritage Days. 14400 Dix Toledo Road (just North of Eureka) in front of the Southgate Library. 10 am to 4 pm. Registration opens at 10 am till noon. Pre-registration till 5/22/08 $8. A registration of $18 gets one vehicle into the show and one of five hundred tickets to win a 47" LCD TV. Registration is $10 at the gate. Voluntary contribution of non-perishable food products being accepted for the poor.
Show is open to all makes and years. Dash plaques to the first 150 registered. Food at reasonable prices, trophies, door prizes and an auction.
TV drawing will be held at the St. Pius Festival on 8/31/08. Tickets for TV $10.
Southgate Heritage Days: Carnival, Taste of Southgate and Fireworks at Dusk.

Saturday, June 14, 2008 - Wyandotte Braves wrestling match 'Metro Pro Battle for the Braves'. ARC Hall 4212 - 12th Street, Wyandotte. Doors open at 7 pm - Bell Time 7:30 pm. $10 adult and 5 kids. Featuring MPW Superstars of the TNA.
Sunday, June 15, 2008 - Wyandotte Braves Annual Fathers Day Show. At Bishop Park (Oak & Biddle) in Wyandotte. All proceeds to benefit Wyandotte Braves Youth Baseball. 11 am to 4 pm. Registration opens at 10 am. $15 per car. Attend both Wrestling & Car Show and receive $5 off a registered vehicle. Show is opened to all makes and years. Dash plaques to the first 150 registered. Sunday, July 27th - Bridgewater 2nd Annual Benefit Show at 24303 Bridgewater Court (between West & Van Horn Roads and 1 mile west of Telegraph). 11 am to 3 pm. Rain Date Sunday, August 34d. Registration 9 am to 11 am $5 per vehicle. Dash Plaques to the first 100 registered. Trophies, DJ, Free hot dog / chili dog, chips & beverage. Door prizes, 50/50, Basket Raffle and a Bake Sale.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 - Hospice Benefit Car Show sponsored by Roam'n Chariots at the Brownstown Civic Center (Thorn Park) 21313 Telegraph Road just north of King. 10 am to 3 pm. Registration opens at 10 am. Pre-registration fee by July 25, 2008 $8.00. At the gate $10.

Saturday, August 9, 2008 - Friendly Ford 12th Annual Hot Summer Nights benefit for Mercy Memorial Hospice of Monroe. 12 noon to 9 pm. Rain or shine. 1011 South Monroe Street, Monroe, MI 734-243-6000. Free admission. DJ Gator productions with Live 50's & 60's music. 50/50 drawings, live auction (3 pm) silent auction, quickie auctions throughout the day, and raffle drawings. Goodie bags and dash plaques to the first 200 registered vehicles. Ginger Bell the Clown, Top-O the Balloon Man, Ice cream for the kids. Food and drinks available.

Thursday, September 4, 2008 - Frankenmuth Auto Fest Kickoff at Frankenmuth McDonald's on 478 North Main Street approximately 1 mile north of town. 4 pm to 8 pm. Trophy presentation at 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcomed. Olides music, meet other car buffs, and a whole lot of fun.

Friday, September 5, 2008 thru Sunday, September 7, 2008 - 25th Annual Frankenmuth Auto / Oldies Fest at Heritage Park in Frankenmuth. Vehicle must be 1978 and older to register. Pre-registration through 8/19/08 - Car only $20 ($25 at the gate). Value Package #1 (until 8/19/08) Car entry and two tickets for Music Tent Saturday night $40. Value package #2 (until 8/19/08) Car entry, 2 tickets for music tent and tee shirt $55. Dash plaques to the first 2,000 entries.
Friday registration opens at 8 am Schiefer & Bierlein Chrysler Dealership. Park opens at 8 am. 5 pm to 10 pm 'Big Block' Party on Main Street. Entertainment, food, and over 2000 great rides. Craft show behind the Historical Museum. Great Fireworks Display.
Saturday - Heritage Park Opens at 7 am. Pancake breakfast, door prizes, vendors, entertainment, food & beverages, Ronald McDonald show, and kids activities.
Saturday evening MUSIC TENT!! Featuring 'The Diamonds', 'The Beat Club' and 'Phil Dirt and the Dozers' from 6 pm to midnight. Live bands dancing food and beverages. Gate opens at 5 pm. Located right at Heritage Park in the Pavilion. Admission $15 per person.
Sunday - Heritage Park opens at 7 am with pancake breakfast, door prizes, vendors & entertainment. Awards - over 60 German Steins will be awarded by category from fellow car enthusiasts (Not judged). Car jackets given to the top 25 picks.
